Volume II - pool #4556
Red Lantern - page 95 (End of Volume I)
This is the final page of Red Lantern Volume 1: The Crimson Divine. I'm leaving for AC in a few short hours, so I'm posting it now. I want to thank all of our readers, and anyone who actually went out and purchased the full book. It's been a long journey, for both the characters *and* the creators.
Red Lantern Volume II: Conviction will be premiering on a weekly update schedule within just a few weeks. Until then, we're on a very short hiatus, while I take just a little time off and start handling commission work again.
Arguably the biggest news about the new volume, as many of you might already know, is a changing of the guard. Alectorfencer will be stepping down, and starting work on her own comic. Taking her place is Myenia, although the art will not be strictly split between character artwork/backgrounds anymore. Myenia and I will be sharing both aspects, in hope of creating a slightly better synergy between the characters and backgrounds. If you'd like to see the first of our work together, you can see the cover for Red Lantern: Conviction here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7922077/
Speaking of which! If you're going to AC this year, stop by Sofawolf's table. They'll have copies of Red Lantern for sale, of course, and Red Lantern: Conviction posters. I hear they're pretty swanky :)
Red Lantern Volume 1 is now available for purchase! It covers all 95 pages, including those never before posted online! Check it out here:

It's worth mentioning at this point that all the pages posted from here to page 95 were completed over *six months ago*, and the book has already gone to print. So while you're certainly welcome to make artistic suggestions, we are well past the point where we are able to make any changes. Critique my current artwork if you'd like to be productive. Thank you.

Memberoverall? I liked this comic!
Yeah okay, the plot was cliché and predictable, but it was cute, well drawn and despite drama, I really did want to know what would happen next.
I'll probably be purchasing this. Good to know there's to be a sequel!

MemberI'm just wondering when the two of them hitch up with the admiral and run like hell... With a blacksmith to take the collars off, this time.

MemberMan Dhaval is so hot. This is a good story in all, but am I the only one wishing for Dhaval to be in a gay relationship, i.e. one with a sex scene?
CAPTAINPRICE79
MemberEVERY SINGLE ONE OF RUKIS'S MALE CHARACTERS ARE HOT! Well, at least the main characters, anyway.

MemberThis is a furry comic about brothels, slaves, indentured servants, pirate, navies, and tribal conquerors but has almost no actual sex. I fucking love this. it has so much thats well written than even without the actual sex I dont feel cheated I feel invested in their life.
