April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

MemberI understand that in that version of Zootopia (before the taming collar) Judy was going to be a radio operator and Nick was going to be a special agent. In this version there was going to be a taming earring (which would later be worn to a necklace).

MemberI thought during that time zootopia was still being envisioned as a movie with heavy film noir influences where Nick was supossed to be some kind of detective and Judy like you said a radio operator who was gonna be a key witness in a case (pretty much their roles were inverted in later versions of the movie).
Also good lord this alpha/beta judy was TALL af

MemberWasn't the original Zootopia concept a James Bond-esque spy flick starring Jack Savage? If Judy and Nick had any existence at that point, it would have been as minor supporting characters.

MemberNick and Judy didn't exists at that time yet, The first version known of zootopia was the prototype series of films starring the characters jack savage and skye with one of them being called 'Savage City' which after a time probably in late 2012 it was decided that only that one was going to be made into a full movie and the pitch idea of an anthology was scrapped along with jack and skye which were redesigned/replaced with nick and judy though it was still gonna be a spy thriller film.
