I've been thinking of one day producing an animated furry porno film someday, but I don't know how I could pull that off, or better how I will get someone to animate it. So I was thinking if there were any group of animators or some kind of animation studio who would be willing to accept such an idea. Does anyone know of such people who could?

There are many, many animators who take commissions. Check out animated rating:e long_playtime, find some animators you like, contact them, and ask if they take commissions and what their prices are.

order:duration is another helpful tag to find the people who are willing to spend a boatload of their time on producing smut.

Now that I think about it, I don't think i've seen a hentai studio ever make any type of furry porn. Which makes a lot of sense because it's likely too niche to turn over a profit. The closest thing I can think of is that one hentai where little red riding hood (big breasted edition) gets the ever loving shit fucked out of her by the big bad wolf. Which in retrospect is pretty hype. So your best bet is probably to do a verbalase reference and spend big time on commissioning dedicated furry artists. A lot of yiff artists are arguably more talented then some hentai studios not in terms of output but in sheer animation quality. Seriously zonk or dimwitdog could easily 1v1 the entire hentai industry and win. Also i recommend checking out dreamer tooth cuz they made a 9 minute mini yiff movie.

Maybe I'm overestimating the popularity of furries/furry porn but I doubt it wouldn't turn a profit. At least in the west.

I think it might be more opportunity cost. Hentai is probably pretty profitable.
Or maybe the market in Japan is smaller.

I've always been curious how popular furry stuff is in Japan in comparison to the West. Here you have a ton of anthropomorphic characters in popular media like movies and tv shows, but that doesn't really seem to be the case for Japan.
It could be that the US has so much media in general or that I'm an outsider, but it does feel like furries are a small niche over there.

Japan definitely has its share of anthro characters in media. Beastars, BNA, odd taxi, aggretsuko, sanrio ect. Not to mention franchises like Pokémon and digimon were created in japan and while I haven't fact checked it im sure a lot of furry media like Disney movies must be well known there to.

The furry tag on Japanese art site Pixiv has 595,933 results and Japan meeting of furries 2024 had 1,949 attendees making it the 22nd biggest furcon ever according to wikifur
